5 Easy Winter Trip

Photo Tips

Here are a few tips to capture those great moments so you can keep on enjoying them even after you get back home.

1. Don't forget to pack your camera, charger, batteries, & memory card. If you're going to use your camera on the beach, keep it in a zip lock bag to keep the grit out! Winter on the beach ! If you're in the snow, watch for snowballs and watch the battery level in the cold temps.

2. Set your digital camera so that the flash ALWAYS fires! This may sound a bit crazy out in the sun but it puts a little sparkle in your kid's eyes and soften face shadows. (Pros have used this trick for years.)

3. Since you're probably already looking at the back of the camera after a shot is taken go ahead and delete the bad ones. Saves editing time when you're ready to order your pro photos. Be careful not to delete the good ones though.

4. The very best way to save these most important family moments together is to have your photos printed IMMEDIATELY when you return home. (You can even order your prints from your hotel room so they're waiting at home when you return.)

5. Enjoy your winter vacation over and over again by making the most of those pictures you took! Every image you capture tells a story. Whether it's 4x6's that tell individual stories or a Photo Booklet that tells a whole story from beginning to end, just be sure to tell your story.
